National Works on Paper

National Works on Paper (NWOP) is Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery’s biennial acquisitive exhibition celebrating contemporary Australian artists working with or on paper. We developed a new identity that sits within the MPRG brand while giving NWOP a distinctive presence of its own.

Inspired by the material qualities of paper, the system uses layering, transparency, texture and contrasting typographic widths to reflect the diversity of works on display. A palette of black, white and light sage is punctuated by vibrant red and yellow, creating a flexible visual language that can evolve across future exhibitions while remaining recognisable across print, digital and environmental applications.
